is it possible if i can play a divx movie if i have a divx cd? or the only way is just to put it on the xbox?

I have played divx movies from a cd. But keep in mind that the xbox dvd-drives don't play all burned cd's. One might work, the next may fail :S

If you have a samsung drive (it has two smaller holes to either side of the main hole in the tray) then you will be fine ... otherwise the other drives are very particular with which (if any) cd'rs they will read.

Was a big deal when xbox first came out but since then dvd burners and media have come down to about 20% of the price they were so its all good
