i want to download a dvd ripper and would like to know a good one
i would like to rip staight to dvix and avi if possible

dvd decrypter is good, it just rips and decodes the css on the vobs.. you would need an encoder to encode to divx or whatever.
This is an excellent resource for this kind of stuff.
