Heya guys,
Just wondering if this would be possible and would be sooo grateful if it is and i could have a dummies guide for it

I have my Xbox 360 but no router sad.gif but someone told me if i have a USB ADSL Modem (which i do ) i could connect my 360 into the ethernet post using a cross over cable and be able to connect to Xbox live using my PC as the router...
Any help would be greatly appriciated!!

connect xbox to pc with crossover, connect to internet go to network places (if you have xp) on the left network connections click on the dsl modem connection, hold shift click on the other right click on one (when they're both high-lighted) and hit "bridge connections" it should work.
varies by whatever varies

Another option is to wire it the DSL modem, if it's USB and has a spare ethernet port, this is another option, you can bridge them as Wild said, or use Windows ICS, Internet Connection Sharing, which will auto config it all
