I created a 1mb bios with X2BM (I just copied the same 256k (x2-4976) file into all 4 banks...is that right?)........then I used XISO to create the .iso and this file is 2.06 mb (!) what happend or did xiso just add some weight to it to "Fluff" it out a bit??

When created properly, it should be one meg... ie: the size you aimed for
for making a diff size bios, just us xbtool... that's the best one out there for that, pretty simple also

Just wondering, why did you make an XISO out of your BIOS file? If you're planning to use OzXFlash to, then your BIOS .bin file doesn't need to be burnt in XISO format.
