Thanks for the info!
Is there any site/blog/etc out there that keeps track of all new marketplace updates as they arrive?
Druggedpolak
dude this game is crazy when u play with no one around u and the lights off muhaha.gif
But when you have friends around it goes by really quickly, isnt scary, and is more funny.

KMFDM
Game was a huge let down.
yaazz
Condemned is a pretty fun game, very creepy!

However, the Quake 4 demo is really fun! The framerate is on the low side, but the multiplayer is still awesome!

Condemned is a crazy game if you play it at night very scary with all of the crack heads coming out of no where. Quake 4 is definitely not worth 60$.
nectar12
i wouldnt pay $60 for quake either.. still nice to play team deathmatch with the demo.

erikk
in germany codemned is not available over xbox live sad.gif
redwolf
Condemned is really scary game, but i swear game looked blurred blink.gif

It must suck to have to worry about frame rate, jaggies & textures so much you cant even enjoy a fun game...
woofis
i wish they make online demos so you can get a taste of online. just like they did witht he motgogp and whacked for the first xbox.

I'm in California and I don't see either demo, Condemned or Quake 4, in the marketplace. Any ideals?

You are in California you should have it in the market place section. It sucks being in Germany no demos tongue.gif

Thats what the quake 4 demo is for smile.gif

I just checked again, and I still don't see those games listed in the marketplace. I did come across a banner for each while in the marketplace, but it just brings me to a screen that only has "Game Info" and thats it.

Is there a way to update the marketplace?

Also how are you guys getting to the demos?

Xbox Live tab > Marketplace > Trailers and Demos > niether game is under here.
I also tried all the other sections under the Marketplace but no luck.

do you have a gold membership?
this might be a gold membership only thing
HaloSlayer
I transfered my old Xbox account. And I can play all my games online. That should mean I have gold, right?

It's Gold!

It just doesn't seem like the marketplace is updated. The newest thing on there is Robotron.
Joergen
Well Condemned is banned in Germany at least and is only available to users of 18 years or older. You cant expect these gore filled demos to show up if your registered date of birth makes you under age.

Q4 is not worth 80 $ that I payed (69.95 CND + TAX).
HaloSlayer
Welp, I've finally figured it out.

Those new games were not showing up because I have the family settings enbled and set to "Teen".

I have 4 kids, two of them are at the age where they can play the 360 and I didn't want them playing my Halo 2 or PDZ.

Thanks for the help everyone.

I guess I'll have to turn off the family settings each time I check the marketplace.
jisboss

Condemned is a short game, but definately a good time.
prankfurter
I love condemed looks so good in 1080i and spooky as hell biggrin.gif
