Hey there. Need some ideas from the collective. Any help given would be greatly appreciated.
Am currently in the process of setting up a friends new home theatre setup. I am trying to connect his xbox into his new amp. Apparently, the salesman has chucked in a set of component video cables to switch for the regular composite cables. The audio works fine, however the display only comes out in monochrome. Not being an xbox owner myself, I am a little lost. Is there some sort of setting that must be changed in the menus to switch to composite? Any help would be great.
Equipment: Xbox console, Optima TX-SR503 AV Reciever, Monster Xbox component cable, JVC TV connected to receiver through component cables
