Hippo's Sunday chips are the best for the 1.6 for the quality and cost. I've installed five of these on 1.6s and they all worked perfect.

not to put hippo down as his chips are nice
the duox 2 white does a great 1.6 rebuild I just did one this las week with one, got it first try no frag, no muss. eitherway, and either chip both are good.
