a bad game?
i mean,the graphics are barely above average,fmv sucks,boring gameplay,stupid save system,huge load times,
a piece of shit or is it just me?

hmmm... haven't played it yet, but the
key here is gameplay, which you said sucks.
Games that don't look the best but have great gameplay
normally get thumbs up from me... Great looking graphics
is just a perk.
So, if gameplay sucks.. you are probably onto something.
Why does this guy like to start a thread 'a piece of shit?' all the time?

I download it yesterday, and I do think is a bit of a disapointment too. Oh and I can't play very well with the controller, maybe it's me but i didn't like the gameplay.

I quite liked the demo and I think it was good of them to let you try it out on live before you bought it.

Loved the graphics, loved the single player, sound was great. Didnt bother with online, not a quake fan when it comes to DM, Im an Unreal whore thru and thru when it comes to such matters.
Never tried the demo, only the real deal.
and why are you asking others? so maybe they change your mind?
you listed several reasons why you hated it, time to move on and try another demo...

I actually liked it...better than Doom 3.
What made it for me was the story.
Graphically glitchy-yes.

But I thought it was fun to play.

Oh I see, the adult players should avoid this.
when did gaming become unsubjective? and when did age become a factor?
Ozy, the answer is obvious

I think the main problem with this game is the fact that it was rushed, and there is serious framerate problems and long load times. They should have made better use of the hard drive, and maybe held the game back from release a little bit to work on the framerate problem. This game is more of the same, but it could have been a lot more fun, just by having better presentation alone. If this game was as fluid as COD2 is, I might actually love this game. Maybe they can make use of xbox live to make a patch for this game to fix some of the problems, I doubt they will though.

How can they make better use of the hd if only 30% of 360 owners have one ?
Those of us who own a premium or, indeed a core with a seperate retail hd, are the fortunate ones. Most people can't find them and have had to settle for memory cards.

I personally don't like the single played. I think gfx are horable (no life in it). I never understood the story of it (trust me, all I care in games is story line so I do know how to follow it up), maybe I was not interested at all. Who knows?!
I like MP a lot ( YES the waiting SUX)! To tell you the truth I did not expect more from this game anyways (it is one of the 1st lunch titles!). It is not worth $80 (CND), but hey who cares!

lol
The best game outthere for me is Condamned!

What's to say they can't have options to allow faster loading by using the hd if you have it, and if you don't, then you just can't use the option. PS2 has a optional hard drive and some games had options to speed up loading by using the hd if you have one, why can't x360? If most people have the hard drive, then there should be this type of option in every game.

I think its an above par game, especially for a launch title. If i had any complaints it would be with the framerate and the save system. I can deal with the framerate because on my machine it seems to get better after playing for a short period of time. The save system kills me and please tell me someone can relate with the part where you turn Strogg and then go through a ton of storyline only to die and have to start over where the marines save you. Now that shit kills me and makes me not wanna play but if they fixed that it would be a very impressive game.
PS: I think graphics are beautiful.

The frame rate doesn't bother me at all. However, the multiplayer is god awful. I tried to play three games today and it froze at the 'starting game' screen twice. Ridiculous, especially considering it takes about 5 minutes to even start a game.

unfortunatly one thing I think your going to need to keep in mind is this is a port A and B is also a launch game.. Dont expect a 100% gem from a game developed in a new one and released on a new system... Just wont happen.

Gotta say it,
I really enjoy this game. I never noticed any framerate problems until I played it in HD, on lower resolutions, it does refresh very nicely, with only smatterings of ratchet vision here and there.
I loved the story, or should I say lack thereof, just your run and gun FPS! The visual sites on the levels range from the grotesque to unique, made for a nice atmosphere.

I found it to be an enjoyable minfless shooter on my PC but on my 360 it's not worth the money even if I hadn't played it before. Steer clear guys.
Please oh please god let valve port HL2 to 360 and monolith port FEAR!
