I am looking to buy a solderless mod chip and would like to know which one is the best on the market today and where is the best place to buy it from?

dont buy an spidergx right now coz it is buggy.

I highly suggest not going with a solderless, especially if you have a version 1.6.
Soldering the LPC board & pin-header isn't very tough, and you may be able to get someone to do it, if you're not comfortable with it.
But, you can get a solderless adapter for the Xecuter chips. I would suggest the X3 myself, but if you're going solderless, I suggest the X2.6. But, you're going to get a different answer from every person you ask.
Just do some searching...
But I do agree with the above post...DO NOT get a spiderchip
