While I wasn’t offended at all by the scantily clad girls my girlfriend was pretty upset over it.
It’s just kinda trashy, it’s such a great game I wouldn’t think they would have to use a T&A tactic to win over gamers. A lot of kids are going to be missing out on a solid fun fighter. I imagine a lot of other girl gamers were turned off by this game for the same reason…
I just feel like it sucks that a great game had to stoop as low as rumble roses witch sucks but has T&A to sell it.

its nothing new and i dont think it will effect many people. why not just NOT pick the revealing outfits? it doesnt depend on T&A to sell games, that is just an added bonus that has been with the series since the beginning. its no surprise really, usually things that have an anime influence presents women with perfect bodies and skimpy outfits and has for years (sailor moon anyone?) its not trashy, its just japanese and i love it.

Erm... too revealing? Have you ever been to a Florida beach during spring break? I think DOA4 is LESS revealing than DOAU. There are no bikini costumes to say the least. The only real shockers were Christie's S&M outfit. But that's acceptable because it's part of her storyline (see her end movie). Besides, it's the anime culture the game stems from. Boobs and panties are commonplace in anime. Just the nature of the game. It certainly doesn't rely on sex to sell the game.

Seriously, if you're girlfriend dictates what you play then you have bigger issues than digital boob coverage.
