Even thought he actual disk doesn't hit shelves till tomarrow you can now sign up for the codes needed to activate the beta test. I went ahead and signed up to make sure I can beta test incase they have a limited number. The site is here... http://www.playonline.com/betaus/. In the Q&A section it says the XXX issue of OXM? Is that the Feb issue or a bonus issue? I just received my Jan issue less than 2 weeks ago, seems too soon for a Feb issue.

So is it the Official Xbox Magazine, or is it the Xbox 360 Official uk? As both magazines are 15 euros here, I wouldn't like to spend 30 euros in useless magazines

i'm sure the front cover will be plastered with FFXI beta disc inside here in the states its OXM.

yeah the US is just OXM Xbox 1 and Xbox 360 have the same mag.

The January issue was the first one with Xbox 360 content on the disc and it has Full Auto on the cover, Kameo on the cover of the disc (and a civic ad on the back cover).

I have no idea what's on the February cover, though I THINK the FFXI beta will be a separate disc from the OXM demo disc.

On page 24 of the January issue of OXBM:
"you'll be able to get your hands on a special full beta version of FFXI in an upcoming version of Official Xbox Magazine. ...all you need is a Silver Live membership...". Nothing about WHICH issue.

OK...

1.) Do I have to be subsricbed to the mag to get the disk or is it for sale at stores so I can go pick one up when it comes out?

2.) Does anyone know when the Feb. issue is coming out or when it most likely would be coming. If anyone gets a hold of it I would appreiciate it if they culd let us all know here on this forum. College is picking up again for me so I won't be able to do what I did with the 360 and constantly be going to stores to find one. LOL

I checked around the web, and on the xbox mag forums people are saying the 17th. Man I hope we dont have to wait that long. I wanted to play this tonight, lol. If someone has this please let us know.

Well its not exactly anything worth stressing over. It is after all a ps2 port, and doesnt take advantage of any of 360s power.

I actually heard that they are upping it to 730p with AA. After all, don't they have to? Or esle Billie will go and kill them all for not making a "HD" game.
