Hi all!
I flashed a DuoX-2 on a 1.6 box with the recommended bios (I guess it's fully Xecuter compatible). I boot the box but I get the message "X3 config loading" on a black background but nothing happens after this.
Is there something I need to put on the harddrive? A config file or something?
I know that this is a Xecuter forum, but since this seems to be an bios issue I thought I might enquire here.
All help is of course greatly appreciated.

X3 bioses are for X3 modchips ONLY! You sure it doesnt say "Xecuter 2 config live loading"?
Have you put the HDD & DVD drive back in yet?

Thanks dude! Yeah it says X2 config loading! Sorry:)
The DVD and HD is back in the box yes. Should there be some config file or something on the HD?
Thank you:)

what size HDD is in the xbox? does it have a G drive? if so you may need to FTP the config file (edited by you) to your HDD. Instructions are usually in the rar file that the bios came in.
If none of the above is relevant you may have flashed the bios incorrectly ie 1.6 bios in old vers box & vice versa.

EDIT: as your xbox is a 1.6 you had no need to flash the bios, just select bank 1 on the chip. Unless you have the white cromwell edition which needs flashing

Ahh! So that's my problem. Now I understand. I simply slap this x2config.ini onto the C: drive?
Yeah, the disk is a xbox-formatted 250GB disk. No G:
So, unto C: then?
EDIT: I am really sorry.. The file says clearly ONTO E:
Have a great week and thanks for your help!
