Full Version: How To Install Xbmc On A 1.6 Xbox
I'm running an XBOX v1.6 with SP.ICE with the evox dash installed right now. i wanna try out the XBMC....since i don't see a forum for it, can someone point me in the direction of installing it through the xenium 2.0.1 OS?

Xenium OS doesn't have an APPS directory, when i try to create one through FlashFXP, it doesn't show up.
In FlashFXP:
Options > Preferences > Connection: Uncheck "Use Passive Mode"
Options > Preferences > Advanced tab: Under "List Method" choose "Default"

now, after i move the entire xbmc folder over to the e:/apps folder, what do i do?
as long as its all unrared properly thats it!
the default.xbe should be e:\apps\xbmc\default.xbe
(thats to use it as an app obviously)

what do i do to use it as a dashboard?
you rename to RENAME_ME.xbe to the xbe you are booting.
If you are booting from E:\dashboard
rename RENAME_ME.xbe to evoxdash.xbe and ftp it over your original (back it up onto your pc first)
If you are booting from E:\dashboard
