Full Version: D0 Point Needed?
Is the d0 point needed for the version 1.0 NTSC Xbox? Some people said you only need it for version 1.6 Xboxes. I just wanted to make sure I do not need it, so I do not mess my Xbox up.

Without tryying to get all technical.
Yes you need it, it is used to make the xbox boot the bios on the chip.
If you don't use it your mod chip will not do a damn thing.
There is nothing there where the d0 point is at.

If you trashed the top D0 you need to repair it because the box will not boot chipped or unchipped without
