help anyone, i'm very new to this scene. i just purchased the x-chip with the solderless adapter. The manual doesn't show how to install on the 1.1 motherboard. the plastic guide doesn't fit!!!! can i do it manually? does anyone know where the pins go? HELP!

I have never used the 1.6 adapter before but i will try to help.
On the bottom of the adapter on the black area (next to the screw) it looks like there are pins? if there are you should just be able to put the chip on, screw it down. Connect the D0 point which is the wire that comes off the black part. Its refered to as the LAD01 in the manual. Push you chip on and it should work. Dont worry about all the other pins and stuff. Let me know if this works. My thinking tells me it will.
