With the game purchase I recieved a small calendar as well as a "premium archive" art book - which also contained a comic.

Yea, it came out today, but I have a feeling some people might have been able to get it yesterday -- but that's normal I suppose, haha.

Haven't played it much as I just got home with it. So far it looks good. The combat system is also interesting. Of course I don't play THAT many RPGs so the grid style/turn based combat system is kind of new to me. I think it offers a bit more strategy than the good ol FF style combat due to the fact that some attacks go "through" and hit people behind as well...

anyways, Im only in the very beginning so far.

Is this out in the US? If not when should we see a version here?

I just peaked your GamerCard Suijin and I have to laugh... all the achievements are "secret". I don't know if this is because they didn't bother to translate them to English since we don't have the game yet or what, but I just thought it was funny.

you guys have to understand that deftech is not a RPG fan by any means but is a graphics whore, so his comment makes sense when you know the whole story, if it was a game he was actually interested in then his comment would be directed towards both the gameplay and the graphics im sure.

if you came to this "Gaming" forum more, you'd know I despise turn based/grid rpgs with a passion, hence my comment. The ONLY Rpgs I ever enjoyed are Morrowind and Fable, that says it all. Eagerly awaiting Oblivion, and like kage said, I would never say "fuck the gameplay" about Oblivion. Without gameplay, the graphics are rendered useless.

I was about to say you havent been around long enough but 3.5 years is a looooong time. I assume Im assuming correctly when I say you havent checked this "Gaming" forum much. Its not like I dont post enough for all to know my opinions on RPGs

i think we can all agree on that one.

Most of the ending videos do a good job on that one Ive never played this game or heard about it at all. I dont care too much for RPG games but i really had fun with grandia and shadow hearts.

Delete turn based RPGS, add golf to the sports games, put the Rallisport comment in bold letters and show me where to sign

If I could edit, the best I'd do is BOLD the Rallisport comment.

Next gen to most people means graphics but its more than that, its overall improved graphics, gameplay, AI ect... Most people dont care only about one aspect, gameplay or graphics. If there is a Sweet looking game the graphics are amazing, but your character doesnt respond to your controls well and always interferes so you die all the time. You wont want that game. If the gameplay is sweet and its just overal fun to play but the graphics are like nintendo then you wont really wanna show the game off to people and wouldnt be as "interesting" to play because of the "wow" factor from amazing graphics.

To make a great game you must have both aspects of great graphics and gameplay. Gameplay means a lot more then graphics though because there are tons of old games that are still great to play on the nintendo but dont have the greatest graphics. Games that just suck at gameplay will never be played again.

Wow. I totally agree with all of that Deftech. Expecially the HD part. That ruins a game for me. Luckily most of the time it's a crap game that doen't have it and if it's a good game a .xbe hex string turns up within days.

I'd be willing to bet that if it had an english option it would have released in the US already...

most of the delay with games like this comes from translating/re-voicing which is why DOA4 was near symotanious... Japanese voices and little to no dialog

Thats what i figured im just craveing a RPG or something other then Sports/FPS/Raceing games! Something action/adventure or RPG would satisfy my sweet tooth but looks like its gonna be awhile!
