my M$ dash will not load up it show the xbox screen then it will keep flashing . if I load the xboxdash from avalaunch it will go to the dashboard but there is no menu options. PLEASE HELP!

More detail needed. What type of MOd? what caused this to happen? what have you tried to correct it? etc

We need more info to help you. Like:

Chipped or softmodded?
What do you mean by "if I load the xboxdash from avalaunch"?

If it is chipped and you mean your M$ dash is goen when you turn the modchip off, try and put in a XBOX Live! game and coldstart your xbox. Choose to go to live in the game and it will download the M$ dash.

Chancer was just faster

i have a smartxx v2.0 chip it all started when i tried to change the skin on dvd2xbox it made the screen go black. I meant if you load xboxdash.xbe from avalaunch it go to the ms dash but there are no menu option just the green backround.

As you are chipped I would go down the route of using an autoinstaller like Slayers AID 2.11 to restore the MS dash.

Is that the only way because I dont have a dvd/cd burner. or can i ftp that to my xbox

You can sure ftp on a back up of the c: drive files and apps: No problems there
