wasn't there a video for the xbox that was made showing the same thing only it turned out to be fake because they had multiple xbox's and an original game. I mean they could have had another xbox 360 hooked up to the tv. this doesnt really prove anything to me

nah if you maxamize the screen to full you can see under the 360, no wires, and no multiples.. ?

They could have just put their own label on top of the COD2 disc.

To me it seems there are too many ways to fake the video for it to be proof.

looks to me like they just put a white label over a Call of Duty 2 Disc, and thats it.
Notice all the people who beleive it are new members, probly team ice them selves.

I really don't give a shit what these people release, unless they release a fuckin chip to the public.

Speculation:

1) when drivers open you hear a sound that looks like a dvd driver being closed...
2) when driver closes theres a weird sound....
3) theres a small device that turns on a red led (is it the power 'brick' thing?)

4) Also when he turns xbox on theres a sound that looks like a dvd drive opening.. i dont know how xbox 360 sounds like but that makes sense if they used 2 xbox (power both xbox visible using power buttom, the hidden one using open button)
5) theres a 'thick' sound just after the "other" xbox opens that could be the other guy placing the disk on tray


After two failed attemps they had to show something more interesting than this.. and its so simple to prove, just put a wired crontroller, show all the wire and move a lot in game showing both tv and controller at same time...

Well... it could be a second xbox or just a white painted original disk....

That admin on that forums is just simply too immature for words.

Ya when he hits the power button it makes a funny noise and when they close it, it sounds like there is another drive closing in the background.

I really don't understand how some of you guys can just outright say "It's real." There are way too many possibilites, as pointed out. It looks like a white label is stuck on a retail disc. How do we know that they are using that 360 and another one is not hooked up to the TV?
My skeptic meter is at max right now, although the video seems pretty legit to the wanting eye.

At about 25 seconds as he puts the disc in, you can see the dye reflecting in the glass. The dye is gold pressed dye, not green or purple writeable dye. Guys, its the retail game with a white sticker. The sticker even covers the center clear part to hide the whole disc. Its fake.

hey guys there are disks that are white like that one i got a spindle of them right here beside me
and i looked at the video it may be light reflecting in the glass which would produce a gold to silver look

it wasnt fake i got it to boot but i dont have any burnt xbox 360 games as i cannot get a dump

that boot disc was the default.xex off of the kiosk disc... in the NFO they claimed to have 'changed' it, which is obviously bullshit because that would have fucked the signature. Besides that, and the fact that infinitymods.com or whatever has the same IP as the icemod site, and the general retarded conduct of the 'team'... if this is real, then these people have decided on some real weird/dumb marketting tactics.

I read your post and responded, of course it boots, cause its a media-checkless xex from the kiosk disk. Its fake because it can't do anything, that is an utter lie, people have tried it, it has not worked. The NFO doesn't even make logical sense, they claim to have made modifications, which as I said would fuck the sig, they also claim to have put a rip on there that would have been to big, but I suppose they could have done something about that (not that they mention that of course).

i just watched the video again, and at 25 seconds or so, the disk moves to fast to even tell, looks pretty good to me though. I have white DVDR's here at my place, so anything is possible i guess...

even tho they do sell white dvd;'s like that a couple things don't fit. 1) the disc didn't reflect (to the best of my knowledge) a purple color like dvd-r's. 2) they didn't show the bottom, seemingly intetionally 3) even tho they sell them, there more expensive and it was diffrent then the other burnt dvd in past vid. fishy fishy fishy

Stupid question but when you have TV on dont you have to switch to AV for it to actually show the Xbox 360...that TV was on some channel then once he hit the on button on the xbox it AUTOMATICLY SWITCHED. Non of the TVs I ever owned did that...auto switch to AV .... weird..

not involving myself in the chip debate, But...
My tv will auto switch to av or rgb when a console is turned on.

i dont own a 360, they say Live is not confirmed but you can see a message that ICE logged in, so the box seems to be online.

Until such time as amod is confirmed. All ICE related chatter is to go in the single thread in General Chat.
