First off, ive googled/searched this already and while i think i might have enough info to attempt this, i did come across a fair bit of contradicting info. Hence this post.

My xbox is in the state of having just installed a softmod - SID v2.0. Ive got the latest CVS build of XBMC and i simply want to install XBMC as a dash. Currently my drives looks like this...



The XBMC zip i have is like this...




Now forgive the nooby questions but thats why im here:

1) Does the pic of C/SID with the files closed.bin and open.bin indicate a dual boot, where starting with the tray open or closed will load two different dashes?

2) When ftp'ing the files, i assume i rename the file rename_me.xbe to evoxdash.ebe. (my main question ->) As for the rest of the files do i ftp them as the folder so it becomes E/XBMC, or do i ftp the contents of that folder straight into the E drive?

3) Can you tell me what the default.xbe file is in the XBMC folder in the zip?


Once again, sorry for the extreme noobisms but half the guides are either years old, or mention things like a dashboard folder which i dont have, or only tell you how to install as an app. Any help appreciated!
