i know that you can play DVD discs on the XBOX360 but i have loads of AVI files and i know they wont play but i want to convert them to another format and then burn them to disc, what files will work because i burned some mpeg2's to disc and all it said was mixed media disc, what file formats actually work from the disc?

This is Xbox Newbie Chat. You're referring entirely to the Xbox 360? If so your answer is (properly authored) DVD-Video discs and CD-Audio discs (haven't tried/don't bother with DVD-Audio discs).
