as you probably know.. my bios has fucked up and now im left without the use of my xbox
i found a tutorial on how to build a programmer using the parallel port on the computer and a 9V battery for power... (havent got around to making a connector to get power from USB..)
anyways... ive built the programmer, and ive tested the power in the right places, and they all seem to be the right amount....
the thing is...

i CANT get a program to re-flash my gay chip!..

ive downloaded WMILK for windows.. and ive put the required Dll with it... but when i launch the application "WMILK.EXE" it opens up... displays something REALLY fast.. and closes!....
what the hell is going on... i aint pressing anything!..

Im using a WINDOWS XP PRO computer, with version 0.12 of MILK for windows, with the required dll!...

does anyone else use MILK on windows?? how?

ive got a CHEAPMOD mod shop. and ive built the CHEAPLPC PROGRAMMER..
is there any other programs that can program the bios on my chip?

this window that pops up and closes, it is a dos prompt (command prompt) window, isnt it? i am not sure, but i believe if u open a command prompt, then locate the directory containing wmilk and execute the file (with the command, wmilk.exe, im sure u know this tho), it should load and not terminate itself automatically. hope this works for ya.

after i tried what you said... it showed me what to do

when i launch it in CMD... it tells you which command does what...
and i worked it out that i needed the following command:

wmilk -c -p evoxd6.bin -v
that launches the program, tries to find the CHEAPmod programer (-c).. then erases and re-programs with the file evoxd6.bin (-p). and then veryifies (-v)!!...

i was trying with

wmilk.EXE -c -p evoxd6.bin -v --------- .. this finishes launching the program, and doesnt bother about my input!..... ehehhe
