I modded my Xbox some time ago with a Xenium SPICE, and it came with a adapter to make a controller port into a USB adapter. My question is, what can I use this for? I've tried hooking up my digital camera and seeing if I could transfer pictures/files, but it didn't seem to recognize it.

So I'm wondering, what can I use this for? I understand that it can work for a keyboard and mouse if I put Linux on my Xbox, but I'm not planning on doing this.

What I'm really interested in knowing is if I can use it to hook up a USB wireless network reciever. Anyone know if this is possible? I'd much rather buy a 40 dollar USB reciever than a hundred dollar one specially for Xbox.

Thanks for the help!

you can use it for a usb keyboard and mouse.
i do not believe you can use a wireless device on the usb port.

you can buy any normal wireless adapter to use with the xbox, you dont have to use the name brand version.

don't quote me but i do not think you can. the usb is for basic things, like input devices. you can use usb joysticks and stuff, but nothing fancy like headphones
