My friend accidentally connected my hard drive to my xbox and it was formatted into fatx through the usb because it was believed to be a memory card. is there any way to change it back to a file system that can be read by a windows computer?

Hook it back up to your computer and right click on it, there should be a format option some where in there. Or if it is like a jump drive there will be a thing that pops up and says it needs to be formatted when you plug it in.
