I got win 98 working under xdsl and qemu, but when i go to use internet explorer, i get an error within an msdos window.

can anyone help me out here?

and also... are there any low-end browsers people would recommend over IE that would most likely run on 98? i want to use firefox, but i dont see that working too great. then i need an msn messenger client and i'm good to go (maybe trillian).
