it was working fine before I didnt play it for 2 days and today when I turned it on, it just started to blink red. it does not display anything also. with HDD on or off its the same thing.
anyone know what I can do to fix it?

I dont know about the LED light errors but I would try removing all the cables and reataching everything including the power brick.

are 3 of the 4 quadrants lit?

I had the red lights. My 360 is on its way to M$ right now.

My old 360 wouldn't turn on and would blink 3/4 leds red. I sent it to MS and got a replacement. No problems since.

yes, only 3 of 4 leds would blink red.
and I did remove all the cables and reatached everything including the power brick many times this didn't help, but I took off my DOA joystick from USB1 and connected to USB2 and the 360 turns on and works fine so far not sure if that had anything to do with it but its working for now.
I think it's a sign that I am gooing to have to send this 360 back to MS soon.

The same was up with my 360. Plugging shit into it has nothing to do with it. Basically it'll eventually go where it won't turn on 9 times out of 10. Just blink red. I'd send it in ASAP if I was you.
