alright i am trying to mod my xbox with an eb2k x-chip. So far i have had no luck installing it, i followed the installation guide to a tee, but my box keeps on fragging, i am kind of a noob when it comes to this thing, i was wondering if there would be any reason why my box would be fragging? by the way i plug my mod chip to my computer and it is readable by my computer, and i have tried to pressing the reset button, but it doesnt work either! please help!

what soderless adapter did you get with the chip? is it the 1.6 adapter, with the 5 blue led's? or the black one?
what version is your xbox? 1.0-1.1, 1.2-1.3, or 1.4-1.6?
