hi guys!

i have accidentally push the power button for too long...and then i cannot enter the evox menu, actually it takes only 3 seconds to hold the power button to enable the chip. so guys wat did ya think? is it my modchip has been damage? im totally lost here!

what do you mean you held it down for to long i cant see holding down the power button for to long is going to fry your chip.

What i think youve done, is youve held the power button for to long and it has disabled your chip, try only touching the power switch breifly ie: 1 sec, this should enable your chip and boot evox, if this still doesnt work try switching your xbox on using the eject button for the dvd player see if that does it

actually i dont know what chip i have...its a gift from my brother
regularly my xbox must hold the power button for couple of seconds, i have try to switch the eject button it wont load the evox if 1 seconds i dont think it will work also.

if i push the power button for too long ie: 50seconds it keep restarting the xbox menu and MS sign will appear and keep repeating it. if i let go the button it will go to ms erorr page...what should i do?

normally i have to hold the power button until it change to orange colour(to enable the evox)...after the xbox sign, it will change the colour to yellow automatically, and i keep repeating it and i still cannot enter the evox menu....

can anybody help me?

i have a muppetX chip. it's simular to an Aladdin chip

tap the power button -> xboxdash
hold power for 1 sec -> xbmc (chip on)
hold for 3 sec -> flash modchip

if you have what i have than you might have flashed your chip. you will need to re-flash it with the proper bios.

can you start the xboxdash? play retail games?

also if you kicked it in a fit of rage you could have broken one of the wires. if.

-sounds to me like you flashed the bios with crap instead of a proper bios.

how to re-flash it?

fyi, i cannot enter/start the xboxdash, cannot play retail games, i have opend the box to check out if any wires have been broken, but it looks fine...

what should i do?
