I am having some problems with networking my xbox. I am pretty sure i have everthing correct because under flashfxp it says i have connected to my xbox. but nothing shows up on the screen and then its says the connection failed about 30 seconds later. so if someone could please help me out i would really appreciate it. You prob aren't connecting to your xbox. post more details about your setup, IP's and all. Read the tut in my sig too, maybe you'll find you are missing something obvious.

are you using a router or a hub.
Setting up a router is easy.
Hub is tedious.....
so, I just bought a router, suggest you do the same.

wiat a minute. everything was working fine. i was connected to my xbox transfering files....but then when i disconnected from the internet it disconected from my xbox. now when i connect to the internet and then try to connect to my xbox it wont let me...i put in all the information from your tutorial. but now i do not know what happened. if somebody could help me, that would be great

run a command prompt on your pc and type ipconfig /all. post that here.

i got my xbox connected to my pc........there are no prob with IPs n all........but my flash fxp does not connects it...........all it says is connection lost!!!......help me out ppl...........i already got EVOX when i bought the XBOX....does the XBOX need to be modified inorder to connect it to PC.

Ok Alextater, what did you do to fix it? I'm trying to load EvoX and running into the same problem.
My evox.ini looks like this:

I'm using a hub to connect my pc to xbox, I start up SmartFTP, it connects to the xbox and then disconnects with the message "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine."

Any thoughts?
