The key is community effort.

I'll make it interesting, though. Unless you can provide your own pictures, tell us where the eggs are and I'll put the pics in here so we can all see. I'll replace my name with yours in the screenshot so you'll get all the credit for it. smile.gif

Level 1: Do a boost jump to get on the bridge thingy.
IPB Image

Then just slide all the way down past the plank onto the next platform. There's your egg.
IPB Image

Level 9: Use the gyrocopter to get to the second platform. Turn to face the left of the bottom of the platform and you'll see a little entrance. Jump off and use the gyrocopter to glide in there.
IPB Image

Smooth sailing from here:
IPB Image

Level 21: This one's a little tricky. You can see the egg near the beginning of the level.
IPB Image

Get the Super Jump just after the first checkpoint. Go back down, and position your marble at this corner so you can roll off of it.
IPB Image

Jump off and guide your marble toward the egg. Use the Super Jump as your fall speed increases so you can better guide your marble to the egg. It'll give you the "Out of Bounds" message, but you'll get the egg.
IPB Image

Level 32: Get to where the trap doors are. You'll have to fall through this one for your egg.
IPB Image

Level 44: This one is directly below the exit. Make sure you have a Super Jump. Get to the platform where the exit is. Roll off the ledge just slightly. As soon as you begin falling, push your marble so that you're directly below the exit. As soon as you're lined up under the exit, use your Super Jump. You'll fall, but you'll get the egg.

Killa420
Nice, is this all eggs? or how many they have total?
notsodiseased
Theres 20 eggs total. The only one i found so far is the obvious one on level 44. (which you could also grab by gyrocoptering right off the edge)
mike_jacko
nice!

I tried it with the copter, but I always kept hitting the edge of the platform causing me to travel in the opposite direction that I wanted to go. I finally got fed up and grabbed the Super Jump. Got it on the first try with the Super Jump.
crobar
do you get achievemts for these easter eggs...or if you get them all or at all...?
metaldevil
You get achievements for the first egg you find and for finding them all (two separate achievements, I mean).

Found two more:

Level 17: This one's easy. Grab your trusty Super Jump and head for that egg!
IPB Image

Level 20: I learned something when I accidently found this one. And that is that you can grab a Super Jump (stay in the spot where the Super Jump respawns), wait for a new one to respawn, and when it does, you'll have the power of two Super Jumps. Just make sure you stay in the same place where it respawns. This lets you shoot high into the air. Ok, so go to this part at the end of the level. You can't see the egg in this picture because it's above the platform. The arrow points to its location.
IPB Image

Stand in the spawn point after getting the initial Super Jump. Shoot your marble in this direction:
IPB Image

Blast off!! Aim your marble to land on the egg. You'll exit the level if you land in the column of light.
IPB Image

Wow. Im really good at find crap like this and I cant believe I passed up so many easy ones.

Do you think you have to complete the level or just grab the egg and quit?

:::Edit:: Checked for myself. Just grab and quit. It keeps track regardless of completeing the leve

Do you think you have to complete the level or just grab the egg and quit?
Reading that got me a little worried. So I went back to a couple of the levels I already "egged" and got the eggs again (without completing the level). The game said "You've already found this egg." Whew. That's good news. So, yeah, you can just exit the levels when you grab your eggs (that sounds so dirty IPB Image).

Edit: I just missed your edit. laugh.gif

Looks like a digital camera to me! wink.gif

Due to the visible Scans Id say its a digital as well
metaldevil
Yeah, sorry about the picture quality, guys. I tried to take good pics, but TVs and monitors never show up as good as I want. I don't have a TV capture card for my PC so I have to use my digital camera.

New one for ya Metal. Level 39. Get to the checkpoint with the superjump. look up and to the right and do a double super jump. Youll see it in the arches. Not the easiest to get but its there. I got it by rebounding off the smaller beam in front of it.

:::edit::: can be done from the 2nd superjump platform as well
themadman123
Ah man, thanks, that totally helps out, if I find anymore I'll totally tell all you guys about it.
notsodiseased
Also I just realized that all the levels youve found an egg in their will be a white egg icon on the level select screen.

So I have Level 1,9,17,20,21,32,39, and 44 so far. Almost half biggrin.gif
metaldevil
Sweet find, nsd! That was a fun one to get. Thanks for the news about the egg icon, too. I never noticed it. beerchug.gif

Level 39 (by notsodiseased): If you go to the second platform with a Super Jump, you can see the egg here:
IPB Image

You can nab the egg from the first platform with a Super Jump much easier. I know because I did it on the first try. biggrin.gif Go to the first platform, and aim your marble in this direction:
IPB Image

Let loose with your Double Super Jump and guide your marble toward the little crevice.
IPB Image

I think you can also grab this egg from the third platform with a Super Jump because there are two very high platforms that are there for seemingly no reason. I haven't been successful with it yet, but I bet you can Double Super Jump from the third platform onto the high one adjacent to it, and then bounce off of that one onto the far away high platform. After that, you might just be able to leap off the ledge and grab that egg.
notsodiseased
another update for you.

Level 43 make it to the 1st gravity modifier, go left and drop down 3 levels, itll be over the ledge to the right

Level 48 at the very top under the final platform

Level 51 make to the very top, dont exit, jump to the large box with the dual fans, look back and youll see it under the lip
notsodiseased
Also can anybody explain the proper way to use the halfpipes. Level 53 is the only level Im really stuck on. i cant get over the damn wall.
metaldevil
^ I thought I was the only one. If I'm in the half-pipe, I can boost out of the side I entered (even from a dead stop) but not the side I need to go.

Kick ass work, man! I got the ones on 3, 33 and 38. I'll get the pictures up tomorrow 'cause I'm falling asleep.

For 3, you got to go around to the back corner and get the gyrocopter. Use it to get up to the middle highest platform. On that platform, you'll get another copter. Use it to nab the egg on the tall pillar in the corner.

For 33, the egg is under the bottommost point of the slide. Use the copter to grab the egg.

For 38, plant yourself in either of the small half-pipes with the Super Jump. Wait there until you have the opportunity to Double Super Jump. The egg is on the middle part of the highest "C" path, but it's on the outside. Do the jump and aim for the top part of the "C" path. Then just slide down slowly towards the void. Don't loose contact with the path or you might not get the egg.

So we now have 14 eggs. Only six left. biggrin.gif

I think there's an egg in 58 because that tower thingy at the end is too obvious to not be hiding an egg. I'll check that out tomorrow, too.
jdkay20
Here the thread http://forums.xbox.com/2049505/ShowPost.aspx
I got them all. yea thats right all 20.
Here are the levels they are in.
1,3,9,17,20,21,22,32,33,35,38,39,43,44,48,51,52,54,58,59
IPB ImageEgg Basket:
Find all twenty easter eggs.
notsodiseased
Level 58 - Get to the gyrocopter, Use the fan and a RB+Jump to get to the area just above the fans, jump to the cube thats just where you came from. Do a RB+Jump to make the last gap. Charge up your blast again, face the upward sloping brown structure, the do a Rb+Jump and use the gyrocopter+Jumping to make it to the very top of the castle. There the egg.

Thanks for spoiling our fun. dry.gif

Well, I'm back fellow Marble Blasters! Now it's back to business.

Level 43 (by notsodiseased): Activate the first gravity modifier:
IPB Image

Turn left and head to the end of this platform:
IPB Image

Drop down to the last platform:
IPB Image

Roll off the short edge for your egg.
IPB Image

Level 48 (by notsodiseased): Roll off the edge (*) of the final platform. As soon as you clear the ledge, boost toward the egg to grab it.
IPB Image

(*) = You need to be on the part of the edge above the egg before you roll off. I only took the picture from that angle so you can see exactly where the egg is.

Level 51 (by notsodiseased): Get to the top. Jump to the large box with the dual fans from here:
IPB Image

Turn around and you can see the egg. Jump toward it. As you get real close, use your boost to propel your marble into the egg.
IPB Image

P.S. I found 22 and 35 today. They'll be up soon with the rest.

@notsodiseased: I'm having a hell of a time with 58. Those damn fans are driving me insane! I can't get up high enough to the top of the platform to get the second copter. Any advice?
MaDDaWg836
here is a list i have created from various people, so dont give me the credit. there are 19 here wink.gif

QUOTE("remaGloohcSdlO")
Here is clearly written instructions for 15 of them, from my own experience in getting them. And the locations of two more that I haven't actually got yet. Condensed in one easy to read format for all those who don't want to rifle through all the posts.

Level 1) “Learning to Roll”: Very easy to see… after you make all the small jumps up the “steps“ there is a ledge you will need to boost jump to (near the middle of the map). From there just roll along it and boost jump (or take the wood plank) across to the egg.

Level 3) “Introduction to gems”: Go to the highest point you can roll to and there is a gem there. Right near it is a ledge you can boost jump to. There is a gyro copter there get it and move out of the spot where it was just a bit. Across from this gyro copter is a taller ledge you can get to with the gyro copter. Do these steps in order. Activate the gyro copter, move backward a bit to get the gyro copter again, then boost jump to the higher ledge. Wait for your “boost” to fill back up but while you wait, notice the very tall pillar across the way, the egg is on top of there. Once your boost is full… activate the gyro copter, boost jump, and guide it to the top of the pillar.

Level 9) “First Flight”: On the second platform down, if you are looking straight at the goal from the start, it‘s on the left side of the platform, underneath it, under the glass block wall. (if you creep over there an rotate the camera you should find the little hole it’s in. If you can’t find it gyro copter down to the lower platform and turn around and look back at the one above you, you’ll see one side (now the left since you turned around) is hollow. The easiest way I have found is to be on the platform it’s above… roll right above it as close as you can get, drop off the edge and then activate your gyro copter, you should float in easily.

Level 17) “Ramp Matrix”: Right above the goal. (The goal in this board is not the one at the top but the level below). Don’t collect the gems first as this will activate the goal. Get the super jump right near the goal, wait for your boost to fill up. Then jump, boost, and lastly activate the super jump, you’ll run right into it.

Level 20) “Upward Spiral”: Right above the goal. Don’t have it yet so clear instructions will come ASAP.

Level 21) “Mountaintop Retreat”: After the first set of steps get to the corner on the flat area. Stop you ball on the “inside” corner and rotate the camera until you can see it far below you on a brown ledge. The best way is when you are on the platform above it back your marble into the “V” and back off the ledge, immediately pushing the stick back up toward the pillar it’s resting on. About halfway down if you use your boost it will give you the little extra “push” you need to make it as you are falling.

Level 22) “Urban Jungle”: From the start, go down the right path (the left one goes up, the right one goes down) and grab the super jump power up. There are several big brown pillars on this map. Roll to an area that gets you the closest to the lowest pillar. You will need to use your jump, then super jump, then boost to reach the top of the lowest pillar. There is a gyro copter on top, get the gyro copter and jump safely back down to the blue surfaces. Next you need to get on the highest pillar off in the “corner” of the map (the one where you can see two time travels on it) and you do that by going over by it and finding the super jump, but don’t pick it up as it will replace your gyro copter. Back up and line up the super jump with the tallest pillar. Start rolling and activate the gyro copter on the ground (don’t jump yet). As soon as you roll over the super jump, use it. You’ll be flying up nice and high but you still need to use your boost to go a bit higher (if you use full boost here you will overshoot, half boost is just about perfect). I usually don’t make it all the way up, but instead kind of bounce off the pillar and that takes me high enough to land on top. On top of that pillar there is yet another gyro copter, grab that. Now line up with the highest pillar from there and back all the way up to the edge. Wait for the gyro copter power up to respawn. Activate the gyro copter and roll through the respawned gyro copter (picking up another as you are using one), jump and then immediately boost to start flying toward the pillar… this is where the second gyro copter can come in handy if you don‘t quite make it and the first one is going to run out. This one you will also “bounce” off of initially but try to land on top, where the egg is. On these types of jumps and gyro copter landings, it helps greatly to push up on the right stick (with the default control scheme) to rotate the camera above you so you can see where to land. This is one of the tougher eggs to get so far, at least for me.

Level 32) “Obstacle Course“: Make it down to the ice area but don’t go onto it. There is a ramp that leads down (on your right if your facing the goal), take that down and you will see six black trap door blocks. It’s under the middle set, the one farthest from you, just jump on it and let the trap door open and you’ll fall to it. You should see the egg floating under there before you jump if your in the right spot.

Level 33) “Fork in the Road”: It is resting underneath the lowest part of the “U” shaped channel you can “ride” in. You should see it from anywhere on the map that gives you the vantage point to look under there. Up by the 3 time travel hourglasses there is a gyro copter. Use it from anywhere on the map that is easiest for you to fly under there to get it. (every place I tried it from was just as hard, so I don’t have any recommendations for you).

Level 35) “Black Diamond”: High in the air, midway down… you have to ramp to get it. Don’t have it yet so clear instructions will come ASAP.

Level 38) “Whirl”: Go all the way up to the goal but if you turn around from the way you came you’ll see the top of the loop that brought you here. Wait until your boost is full and boost jump to the top side of that loop and roll (don’t jump) right down the center and you’ll hit it on the way down, just after you start to fall vertical.

Level 39) “Hop, Skip & a Jump”: Very easy to see, just go to the gyro copter and rotate the camera up and to the right. Just line up with it between the pillars, activate the gyro copter, don‘t roll at all, jump and then use boost and head towards it. Only minimum boost works here, if your boost meter is full you’ll easily overshoot it. Around minimum is perfect. You have to pretty much fly right through the opening to get it though, it will take a few tries.

Level 43) “Ordeal”: Just past the three things that try to push you off by moving side to side there is a gravity modifier switch. You have to go over the edge slightly to trip it, when you do there is some dark brown floor to your left. Go all the way across that and then look down. You’ll see two ledges drop down to the bottom one and then use the camera along the edges to find the egg that you must drop down to get.

Level 44) “Daedalus”: It‘s at the very top under the goal. The easiest way is to have a gyro copter ready. Get right on the edge and activate the gyro copter. SLOWLY back off the edge while pushing forward toward the egg once you fall. Right when you “slip” under the ledge you need to use your boost to jump up and grab it.

Level 48) “Scaffold”: It’s on a brown ledge right under the goal. Make sure you have boost and back off the edge right over it and when you “slip” under the ledge try to boost toward it.

Level 51) “Battlements”: Go all the way to the goal. Get inside the “tower” that the goal is in. You can boost your way on top of the block that held the two fans to get a look at the egg if you want, but unlike some methods of jumping from there, my way is much easier. The “tower” is square and if you put the way you just cam in on your left then boost jump to the low ledge in front of you. There are three blocks here that make up this ledge, the egg is under the middle one, under the lip as you fall. Fully charge your boost and get right in the middle of the middle block and “back” off, as soon as you start to fall push forward (meaning into the wall) and as soon as you “slip” past the lip, fire your boost and you’ll grab the egg. If you go to the top of the fan block you can see where the egg is, and you can even try to jump from there. Either way, it’s not too hard.

Level 54) “Will o’ Wisp”: Under the large platform the goal is on. There is a gyro copter hidden under one of the little ramps you roll around on where one passes over another. You need to take the gyro copter to the top and you’ll probably have to die once to at least see where the egg is located. (hint: aim camera up as you are falling). Once you know where it is go to the closest corner on the platform above it and activate the gyro copter and “back” off the ledge. Once you fall under the ledge (you should be pushing forward towards the egg) activate your boost and you’ll fly towards it. It may take a few tries but if you have your gyro copter at the last checkpoint, the re-tries won’t be too bad.

Ok on level 59 go all the way to where you have the super jump thingie not the first one while on the platform, but after climbing a few stories. Go to the right side of the big box there should be a super jump thing right there. get one wait for another fill you blast and double bounce and blast to the tallest pillar in front of you.

From the start on 52 look down to the bottom on the right hand side of the grip ramp with 2 gravity you should see a gyrocopter. Jump down to there. Make your way back up the grip ramp right next to it and follow the road down the other side and there should be some more gravities which will switch you to the green side. follow the right road or the road right in front of you and there should be a checkpoint and a jewel. turn left go up the grip ramp then another and one more with 2 gravity thing hit the gravity thing and you should be right back at the start. Now when you start the level you are facing the grip ramp but instead turn right and look up you should see the jewel that was at the checkpoint that means dont get the jewel.Look to the left of it you should see a grip ramp you just came up from. Use your gyro, Jump,Blast and jump on the grip to get a little higher. Follow the straight path forward from the way the grip ramp you hit. It should be on a corner edge right where that path ends. If you fall just checkpoint back and make your way back up the grip ramps.

For anyone that tried to look at this... my server crapped out. It is back up again.

Level 3: Boost jump here:
IPB Image

Grab the copter. Wait for your boost meter to fill up. Roll forward then immediately activate your copter. When you get to the edge here, jump and then immediately use your boost.
IPB Image

That will get you high enough to land on the highest platform in this picture:
IPB Image

Same thing goes for this jump. The only difference is that you need to activate your copter as you're rolling over the copter spawn point. This will keep your copter airborne longer.
IPB Image

Head to the tallest platform to snatch that egg.
IPB Image

Level 33: Get the copter. Activate this checkpoint with your copter just in case you fall. No trickery here. Roll off the edge with your copter activated, and guide your marble to the slide.
IPB Image

As "dangerous" as this one seems, it's really very easy. Here' the egg:
IPB Image

Level 38: The egg is located here on highest "C" path, but it's on the outside:
IPB Image

Get to either half-pipe that has a Super Jump. Double Super Jump from there toward the "C" path. Land your marble here on top of the path:
IPB Image

Roll slowly off the path so you don't travel off of it. Here's the egg:
IPB Image

@MaDDaWg836: You found 52 and 59 on your own, right? I'll get those up along with 22, 35 and 58 later.
notsodiseased
35 is tough. You have to be hauling major ass to hit it. It the ramp where the level goes from blue to green.
metaldevil
Level 22: Get the Super Jump and activate this checkpoint. Super Jump to the platform in this picture.
IPB Image

There's a copter on top of it. Face this pillar. Use the same method as described in level 3 (you only need one copter for this flight) to cross the chasm.
IPB Image

Now that you're on this pillar, grab a copter and charge your boost to full. You'll need a double copter just like in the last flight for level 3. Just keep heading toward the pillar. You're going to hit the pillar, and it'll knock you back a bit. Don't worry. As long as you're continuously pushing the marble forward from the jump, you'll be fine. When you hit the pillar, it also makes you go higher. By using the double copter method, you stay in the air longer which is required to get to the top of pillar in this picture.
IPB Image

It sounds difficult, but it's pretty easy. Here's your egg:
IPB Image

Level 35: Here's the ramp you need to go down:
IPB Image

Get into this "bowl" and head toward the ramp.
IPB Image

Here is the top of the ramp. You need to just push your marble all the way down without stopping. You'll speed over a checkpoint. Keep rolling forward no matter what. There is no need to jump after you begin rolling.
IPB Image

When you're marble leaves the surface you're rolling on, you'll come to this second "bowl." Hit as close to the "X" in this picture as possible. Don't stop moving your marble forward or you'll lose valuable height for the egg.
IPB Image

Here you can see the egg. Don't worry if you don't get this one on the first try. It's just a matter of quick thinking while you're in flight to spin the marble in the direction of the egg. If you think you might miss it, go ahead and use your boost in flight. It'll give you a little more time to guide your marble toward the egg.
IPB Image

Its on the top of the main castle you spend the most time on, not the smaller structure you have to gryo to for the exit.

:::edit::: ALso I figured out the halfpipes, you have to jump each time your marbles touches the ground. So all thats left for me is Par time on the final level.

Get to the goal platform. The arrow points to the egg.

Land on the egg:

To do the half pipes just hold down jump, it will cause your marble to go much faster than surface rolling.
appleguru
However said his game was like marble blast gold on OS X.. You're right.. some of the levels seem identical tongue.gif

And.. great work guys (Especially metaldevil with the pics)... A PDF sounds like a great idea! Images and text for each egg wink.gif
metaldevil
Level 52: On the platform you begin the level, look around to see this gyrocopter. No hassle here. Just jump toward it. If you need to, you can use minimum boost to get a little extra distance, but it's not necessary.
IPB Image

When you land on the gyrocopter platform, follow the arrow in this picture back to the beginning of the level. Don't worry: it's a one-way rode back to the beginning. You just have to activate a couple gravity modifiers along the way.
IPB Image

Once back, this is the direction you need to go. By now, you should be comfortable using the gyrocopter. Take off and use your boost then try to hit the grip ramp (gray ramp) so you can gain extra speed.
IPB Image

This will be familiar territory if you already have level 22's egg. You'll hit the angled wall that's at the top of the grip ramp, just keep pushing your marble forward. It'll knock you back, but you'll get a tremendous boost in height.
IPB Image

Now just land on the egg:

thanks for both of those smile.gif

i think ive figured out a different way to do the last level. what i did now that i finally beat it (in 15 minutes tongue.gif ). what i did was that i used the superjump sometimes and the boost jump (sometimes together sometimes seperately) and while using those i just bounced on the gem and bounced off to a platform.

I was trying to get this level up last night, but the site kept crappin' out on me.

Level 58: The hardest part of getting this egg is this part. It's not really hard, just annoying. Grab the copter and set your marble on this side of the fan. It doesn't have to be exactly like the picture. Just keep it on the right side of the fan.

Activate your copter first, then roll toward the copter respawn point. Do not activate your copter on the copter spawn point. Get the new copter with the aid of the fan pushing you into it. Once your copter is activated and you have a new one in the slot, jump then boost. Turn around 180 degrees and head toward the angled yellow platform.

Here's a picture showing the direction you came from and the angled yellow platform you need to land on:

This picture is just to show you the short distance you travelled from the respawn point.

Roll slowly down to the brown area here. Jump to the next platform. Boost if you need to.

Once here, jump to this ledge:

Turn the corner and roll all the way down to the next corner.

Nothing new here. Face the mountain. Use your gyrocopter with jump, boost, and wall-hitting to get to the top.

Here you can see the distance you had to fly:

Bada bing! Bada boom! Betty Boop! The final egg:

And there you have it, fellow Marble Blasters, all 20 eggs in glorious GIF format. cool.gif

Many thanks go out to all who helped, especially notso! Thanks a bunch, man! smile.gif beerchug.gif

P.S. It takes a lot longer to take good pictures of the methods used than it does to just get the eggs. To those of you that have a full egg basket, here's to you: beerchug.gif Time to make an omelette. biggrin.gif

so do you actually GET anything for collecting eggs (aside from achievements). like a gamer picture, video, dashboard theme maybe a new marble skin or level etc.

I mean isn't the definition of an easter egg "hidden content"? unsure.gif

don't get me wrong I think it adds a great level of replay value to the game, just curious... (BTW I haven't collected any eggs yet)
metaldevil
No, just the points, but it was fun hunting those little bastards down. I saw some guy online that had a silver marble for an icon, but I didn't catch his name. I checked my avatar list after I got my 20th egg, but there's nothing new in there. Maybe you get access to a new icon when you get the Marble-fu Transcendent achievement. I still gotta go back and finish the advanced levels.
twistedsymphony
yeah I haven't played any of the advanced levels yet (with the exception of what was in the demo),
I only have 2 or 3 levels to replay on intermediate to get under time. Most of my time recently has been devoted to Tony Hawk, I'm pretty close to getting all the gaps for the 100% complete achievment.

I'm horrible at the gem collecting ones.

Any tips for 4 points of the compas, it's a small and relativly straight forward level but I just can't get under par.

You see how the little platforms move clockwise? When they finish their cycle, they lock into a certain corner. Jump across the wooden beam to the first gem platform to the right of the goal. You have to do it quick so you can jump on the little platform that's about to pass you. From there, just jump a good distance before reaching the next gem platforms. This gives you more time to get back on the little moving platform before it gets too far. Once you nail the gems, it's a piece of cake getting to the goal.

Edit: The first time I played that level, I just jumped across the beam for the goal. I didn't even realize there were gems in that level. I was like, "Yeah, I'm the man." The dream was shattered.
