Hi i did the Splinter Cell soft mod, and while i was backing up the HD something happened i don't know what but when i was done i tried to start X-Box it just goes into a chinese screen and won't play the games, if ANYBODY COULD HELP ME I REALLY NEED HELP lol i know this is newbish but i don't know what happned.

1) what number comes out in top corner?

2) were you using a game (SC, MA, 007)?

3) can you run the game if you leave it in the drive, then power up?

ok this is basically what happened, i followed a SPLINTER CELL tut on how to soft mod, and once i backed up the HD something happened and my X-Box froze, so i started over and got to chosing the dash and everything seemed to go right but next time i loaded i got this screen

ouch..error 16, I think hotswapping or buying a modchip are your options now.

might want to read about those and wait a while to see if anyone else posts some other advice.
