I play a lot of multi player (local) games with my mates.
Over this weekend I have managed to achieve quite a few of the achievements.
Is there any way to see how far through you are e.g. do I have 999/1000 headshots or only 101/1000
I am aiming to achieve 100% achievements on all the games I buy.
So I need to know how often ill have to be invaded by my mates before I achieve everything.

being able to see that info is game dependent, with that said I don't know of any place in PDZ where you can check that info.
good luck 100%ing all your games. I see you've already 100%ed PG3 which is one of the more difficult ones, DOA4 is probably the hardest if not damn near impossible.
If I had to rank the top 4 most difficult games to get Achievments in in:
1. DOA4 <-particularly difficult because of the suvival and online achievments
2. PDZ <-particularly difficult because of the "Dark Agent" and the huge number of online achievments
3. Kameo <-particularly difficult because of the "A Rank" level achievments
4. PGR3 <- particularly difficult because of the Platinum trophys, style racer, and online pro achievments
I base that completely on how many people I've seen who've 100%ed them. With a big 0 for DOA4 and only 1 or 2 for PDZ and Kameo
Full Auto comes out soon and the achievments for that look very challenging too.
The easiest games to get achievments in:
1. NHL 2K6 <- I've heard you can 100% it in one or two matchs
2. NBA 2K6 <- same as above
3. Madden 06 <- play a few games out of a season, and sim the rest
4. King Kong <- Beat the game, it takes under 6 hours.

Thanks for the info - I might check out some of the sports titles for a quick boost of Gamerscore.
I have always tried to complete games fully (not just the story on easy)
Now we have more reason to - as people can view our progress.

I know what you mean, I was always one of those people who would go through games and play through every last nook and cranny, I'd go through the Tony Hawk games and get every last gap (like I'm doing now with THAW). I remember playing through FFVII 3 times all with the game counter stopping at 99 hours because I was just finding everything there was in the world...
It's nice that the games track this stuff and tell you when you've master them.

Thanks for your help - so it does
Unfortunately, it only works on live games and not local.

if you quit a game early then it will go on that statboard, but not count towards achievements i think. there are also other weird bugs with what counts and what doesn't, but i'm not sure what effects those. on a side note, i was reading that melee kills from behind don't count towards the melee kills achievements, only ones from the front (don't know how accurate that is as i never paid attention to it)

nba 2k6 is by far the easiest to get the achievements. i played 2 games and got 1000 points with out knowing it.

The melee kills bug is true (not certain its a bug - but didnt know what to call it).
Me and a mate played a game for fun, without using weapons - on the stats at the end, it seperated melee kills and kills from behind.

Yup from behind counts as an assassination, not a melee. still dont understand that
