Hello all

I am wondering if anyone can help witha filename issue when listing movies on a pc hard drive using relax. I can watch the films fine and everythig seems to be fine but for some reason the files are listed as different names to the actual names of the filenames themselves. Do some movie files have there own version of ID3 tags or something, if yes, is there an editor out there that I could use to change the names of these files

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick thanks to everyone on all of the Forums here, I have only had my machine chipped up for about 2 months now but I have come so far so quickly, just from the help ive managed to find on these and other forums...thanks again to you all

Do you have set 'Filter using movie filename conventions' in the Settings menu? If so, deactivate it. That sounds like the likely culprit.

I do have that setup and when i take it off iot works, but I was wondering why it shows a different name to the filename I have, like I asked earlier, do movies use a form of ID3 tag??????
