I *FINALLY* (and by I, I mean me n my girlfriend) got 3 black pearls together. Anyone else get this done yet? Also, has anyone in the world gotten 6 pearls in a star?

I had 6 pearls at one point but then lost from a bomb before I could assemble them into a star

I've built up 3 pearls a few times but I've never been able to get them into a cluster, the few times I've done it I seems to get a bomb and loose before I can join them together

i had 2 pearls next to each other and i was forming another right above it. i had 7 flowers, then one wrong turn and i got rid of 5 flowers, my fatal bomb came two moves later. quite a bummer

As soon as I got my black pearl cluster, I decided to set aside the game before it destroyed my mental state.

I managed to compile two black pearls before the Bomb of Death came.

I remember seeing some guy's gamercard with all the achievements for Hexic completed. This was more than a month ago, and I don't remember his/her name.

Please someone post a video of getting 3+ black pearls. I honestly cant even get one. I got 6 stars 1 single frikking time and got bombed two moves later.



I need major help with hexic.

i've made several but have never been able to get 6 in a circle, i started to go crazy so I stopped playing it.

getting the 3 black pearls is easy. here is the stratagy i personally use. don't make combo's if you don't have to.

look for bottoms of a flower on screen (3 pieces in position to make a flower, its MUCH easier to make it from the bottom up then the top down)

start early, i usually have 2 or 3 flowers by the end of the first level.

your focus should be making flowers, then once you have 8 flowers, make a pearl (i say 8 because after you make your pearl, you will still have 2 flowers to maniuplate the other pieces to make more flowers)

now that 6 pearl achievement, thats ones giving me a hell of a time, i'm sure i'll get it someday though

yeah, lots of points and the game ends. if I knew the game ended I would have made more combos and stuff before making the 3 pearls touch.

I got over 500,000 points and my rank is still 2200ish on the live rankings.

I dont do very well playing hexic...I've never gotten a black pearl, I get enough flowers to make one but assembling them to make a pearl is tough. I'll try this technique and see if i get any better.

Is that possible? This game isn't made for me

I have gotten only one black perl so far. I get really confused when I have stars all over the screen. It is quite complex to calculate all the moves that one star is going to make, or when you do multiple moves of stars. I am getting used to it though.

All I know is I'm #1 on my friends list - beating TwistedSymphony! Woot!

i'm pretty curious as to where i rank against you guys, almost tempted to send out an invite just to get myself on your scoreboard (i'm probably WAY lower on the game though, not saying i expect to have a massive lead over either of you)

HO-LY SHEEEEEEET!!!!

I tried again for the black pearl achievements and failed... I just don't have the patients for it. I can get 3 or 4 stars by the end of the first level, then I can build the 4x4 grid half way through the 2nd level, but I'm horrible at managing the gird, it's constantly collapsing and I accidentally join star clusters together all the time. it's a mess.

Also check out the Hexic board in the Official Xbox forum, some ridiculous players there and lots of good strategy.
