ok this is how it was...i bought a new xbox, tryied to hot swap the original hdd with the computer and in the end the origin hdd died(no buckup nothing)! the same day bought. ok i came ti the conclution that the only way to make my xbox live is a new hdd and a chip. so i bought a spiderchip v1.1 an a hd.

now this is the new problem after installing the chip i turn my xbox on and the big "xbox" is shown and error 16(because nothing is in the hd now). and when i turn off the chip the xbox doesn't even start. its like in the chip there is an original bios or something like that . i don't know what to do anymore....plz help!!

for what i know the harddisk is locked whith a code stored in the xbox
you cant use it in youre pc without unlocking it.
and you installed a other harddisk.
after you installed youre chip and flashed it with a bios,
boot up with a slayerscd and choose rebuild harddrive or new install or somthing like that
then it should work with the chip on,
with the chip of the disk needs to be locked. i dont know if thats possible without a backup of
the harddisk code

Your spiderchip is working !

Just put slayers evox auto installer V2.6 in and then turn the xbox off. Now turn it on and choose install / rebuild retail hard drive. When this finishes you will be fine !
