Yes I would love to upload my 12v fan mod pics with photobucket. I did register and have an account but if i have them host my pics cant other people on the web go to photobucket and steal or copy my pics? I just want the people on this forum to see them. Can anyone help me out?
deakphreak
Ive never dealt with them before because i have my own server i run my pics from, i can upload your pics to my server or better yet, maybe i will make an upload script so people can add pics to my server.
StroggMercenary
That would be cool if u did set that up for others.

Sorry to misconstrue here, but using a server for upload has nothing to do with someone stealing your pictures. All you have to do is watermark your pictures, or better yet put your name on a piece of paper and take a picture with your name in the picture taken.
deakphreak
And he is right, there is no way to stop others from using your pictures for whatever reason, put a watermark on them.

Watermarking is just using transparent like text (or just regular text it doesnt matter) on the pictures (make sure they are VERY visible) and just write your name on it, its not really too hard.

there is a freeware program on versiontracker called Downsize.....

it can resize pictures to a given measurement or pixel dimension, put custom watermarks, and put borders on you pictures in one shot... better yet it can do it to a whole folder of picturesss

use that.. then host on photobucket.... why would anyone steal your stuff.... why would you care? they might have a picture of your xbox but you HAVE your xbox...
