Well im playing Fifa and i really suck! So far ive played a few games in the road to the world cup mode but cant even score a goal! Can you guys give me some strategy or hints? TIA!

plenty of passing, mix it up aswell using the flanks to get crosses in.try not to get into the habit of charging all over the pitch i think patience is important.learning to use off the ball runs can also be helpful at going round the opposition.asfor defending, try not to charge the same man all over the pitch chasing the ball try keeping your players in position.practice practice practice.

Flanks? Crosses? Pitch? I guess bein a Yank doesnt help cause the sport is all but dead over here an i dont know the terminology? What is the highest rank team in the game? Well i actually scored a goal and won 1-0!

I don't know how many more games I need to win, I have been playing the game for almost a month now and still cant finish Road To The World Cup mode. I just beat Russia 7-1

WTF i just won a knockout tourny in the create a tourney mode and no F$%^ing achievement!

hehe that happened to me too ......make sure you use default settings to get the two achievements in custom tournaments......you can only change the level of dificulty.

What the hell?! Tonloc how did you get Cup Qualification?

I think you just have to win when the qualifier round is happening! I won the masters and it gives you a ton of points, but i dont really understand this game? It seems really hard to me and it seems like the computer plays harder during the custom crap as opposed to the Road to FIFA at the same difficulty setting but who knows, this game frustrates the sh%t out of me!

You get the cup qualification in tournament mode? I havent tried tournament mode yet.

You get it in the Road to FIFA part! But from what i saw is there are friendly matches with 2 mini tourneys mixed in there(the 2 tourneys are the ones they award achievements for) and at the end is qualifications for FIFA and if you qualify the game is over. That was my experience at least. i gotta start over to get the first mini tourney win, i missed it the first time!

Drop the ball a lot to your defenders and switch it up back there (pass it from one side of the field to the other).
Also, go for the early crosses. Dribble to the corners by the flag, and send balls to the middle/top of the 18. Take a touch or just volley it into the net if you're good.

Also, make lots of runs (pull left trigger).

All this seems to work in the 2 minute demo and real life.

Well i finally got all 1000 points! I dont like soccer, ive never played a soccer game so tell me does this game suck as bad as i think it does or am i crazy?
