Geez. It'a just an extra connector!

The Xbox provides the circuitry to do the programming.

All you device does is allow a user to plug in different mod chips into your Xbox through a 'common' connector.

Nothing more.

This guy (xnazi or whatever) obviously isn't receptive to constructive criticism. Maybe he is sadomasochistic and likes being abused?

But wire has been around for a long time so it exists in the fourth dimension (time) hence its 4D. Welcome to my fourth dimension fantasy world.

Looks to me like that extra circuit thingy is probably a flash protect enable/disable. Am I close?

Actually, if it's of ANY use, it's the PIC circuit that allows you to program the TSOP by controlling access to D0.

Not that I want ten useless connector kits.

No, the red side is not used for Xbox Live...

When you adapt any modchip in X-elixis Programer,
then the connection of D0 point to GRD,
is done exclusivelly by X-programmer with a jumper switch,
that is included in both Black and Red side!

Of course the safest way is to unplug everything from the LPC connector, cause as I read in these forums some people reported that they was banned even if they have booted from the onboard tsop, but with the modchip connected.

To help a little bit with Red Side functionality,
by looking closer to the support site,
you gonna see something missing...
This is why you can use the red side!

Today is Easter is Greece, their church goes by a different calendar than American and most European churches.. So Easter is a week later for them.

This can be used as an alternative way to program your X-elixis for the first time, if you find any difficulties with Cromwell and OzXFlasher!

2. Because of CD-DVD media incompatibilities,

OzXFlasher way requires 2 x DVD-R to burn.
DVD-R backups require a DVD-Recorder.

But if the chip is supplied with cromwell, you can't run evox! If is supplied blank, you cant boot anything at all!

X-elixis LPC connector can hook everything with the help of X-Programmer,
from a ribbon cable, pogo pins and of course socket...
