Is it possible to make XBMC the default dashboard? I mean that when I start up my Xbox XBMC will be displayed. If so, how do I do this? Do I just rename it to xboxdash.xbe and place it and its files in the C folder?

depends on how you modded the system, but i doubt xboxdash.xbe is the correct file to replace.
look for a default.xbe in the e:\dash or something along those lines.

I softmoded my Xbox using Krayzie's Ndure Installer v1.1. Yeah, there is a E:/dashboard and a file in it called default.xbe. All I have to do is copy XBMC and its files and put them there?

The way I did it was first make a folder under Apps for my current dashboard (e:\apps\unleashx) copy everything from e:\dashboard to new folder under Apps. Then you can still use it, if wanted.
Made another folder under Apps (e\apps\xbmc) and put all XBMC files in here.
Then put the rename_me.xbe (which should come with XBMC) into e:\dashboard (DONT FORGET TO RENAME TO default.xbe)
Rebooted & all was fine.
I take no blame if anything goes wrong!!!

Krayzie has built this functionality into the installer. Open the README that came with it and look for the "EXTRAS" section. Read that, then proceed to "Changing your dashboard". It worked perfectly with XBMC.
