Ok well ive taken it apart its a phillips and i mwonderin how to get the white plastic piece out of the top of the drive to leave the top of the case off completly please help

You'll need to custom make it from plexi glass, that one there is for a thompson drive, but I think they can be modded to fit onto sammy's...

I started to make a full clear top but stopped moddin for a bit, i'll see if I can find the pics ina bit here.

It shouldn't be too hard to make one for a sammy, I'll have a go at it this sunday if I can. Depending on what I come up with, I might be able to make you one for a price.

Yeah thats fine, I've got a few of all the "original drives" around here. I used to mod atleast 5-6 boxes a week, and that was a slow week. So over time I accumulated a bunch of parts.


EDIT: Just realized I said sammy, sorry ment phillips in my first post.

That piece came with my clear case too. It didnt fit my drive either, I think it is a hitachi but all I did was sand the side pieces to make it fit and I glued it on to the drive.
