Is it possible to flash a matrix chip without the programmer? Can I do it with the evox flashing utility? Thanks.
I do not know that this is 100% certain, but after going through many posts this is what I came up with, which is also in the Matrix guide that is pinned.
To flash the Matrix from Evolution X, you must have the following in your evox.ini : Flash = 0xbf61,"SST - 49LF020",0x40000
Also note that the Matrix must be in mode 4 (both switches off) when doing so.

That worked! I'm happily running the evoX m8+ bios on my modchip now. Thanks for the help.
