Infinity Ward, The creators of the popular Call Of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360. Has released some great information regarding its next update.

We are happy to tell you that we're very close to releasing our second Title Update, improving the Xbox Live multiplayer functionality. Here's what's coming in that update:

1. Player Lag has been addressed
2. Private Game Lobbies / Reserved Slots
3. Enable Live Host to set custom game options
4. Map Preferences setting
5. Post Game Lobbies (players at end of match will return to lobby)
6. Enemy Player Name Notification
7. Kick Player (host ability)
8. Lobby Game Type, Map and Host Notificatio

For shame, even though at times it was buggy you still could play online most of the time and it was great.

"never really tried" I have played a couple matches. Im just so pissed that I got sent another HD and have to replay everything over on veteran again

Can these patches be stored on the memory card or do they require the hd? About how big are they?

I'll pick up this game for sure if I'll be able to take advantage of this new patch.

Regardless of you getting a different hdd back, your points for beating Veteran should still be seen when you check your Achievements shouldnt they?

I deleted all saves and profile from the 360 I sold a few days after launch, kage brought his over and all my progress/achievements in all games transferred over when I recovered my tag onto his machine. It worked again when I recovered on new 360 as well. All points/achievements I accumulated on 4 different 360s in 3 months time are all still attached to my tag.

Im pretty sure they require a HD and I dont think there that big... no bigger than 5megs I would guess..

AFAIK acheivements DO NOT require either a GOLD account or a HDD, one way this problem COULD occur is if you were NEVER online with those achievements.

Do the patches automatically install when you put the game in or where do you find them on the marketplace? I have COD2 but have not go the first patch yet and havnt played the game for a while, just curious if it will automatically prompt me to install it or not.

Yes. Once game starts it will say to play you need to update. Just stick game in drive then boot up and it should prompt you to update.

i wish they would make it possible to play more than one person per 360 online or even system link

Now all they need to do is up the online server capacity to 16, or around there, then I would like COD2 alot more
