Hello All,

my Xbox NIC has died, and I am trying to copy some MP3's, backgrounds and so on from my PC to the Xbox. As all other ways have been exhausted, and I do not have blank CD's available, I want to try to remove the harddrive from my Xbox and place it into my PC.

Has anyone tried this, and if so, were they successful?

you can but u need to unlock the harddrive with certain software programs. Sorry I dont know the names of them but I use a modchip to do this

its not that easy just go get some blank CDs that way nothing will go wrong
