I'm running a computer with windows 2000 with all the latest updates and I have Visual Studio.net 2003 installed. When I'm trying to install the latest xdk (5344) I can only chose minimum installation. I really could use som help here so I can get started with som developing =)
Thanks!

Wouldn't know about using it with .NET 2003.... I'd say it's not going to work.
You should be using .NET (blank) - which is 7.0, not 7.1 like the 2003 release.

Actually, there's Visual Studio .NET (Released last year) which is "7.0"
Then there's Visual Studio 2003, released just a short while ago, which is "7.1" and includes the new version of the .Net Framework.
There are two different versions of the 'newer' studio.

5455 doesn't require Visual Studio .NET 2003 as the .nfo used to (or maybe still does) say. It just uses the 7.1 compiler which is included with the XDK so it can still be used with the ordinary Visual Studio .NET.

Nope... doesn't appear to. It looks like it needs 7.0, not 7.1.
Does anyone know when a version that will suport VS 2003 will ship?

Feb-5344, April-5455 Do not support the use of .NET 2003 IDE, but June (5558) does... Here is a quote out of the release file that came with XDK 5558.
MS Visual Studio .NET 2003 IDE Integration
MS® Visual Studio® .NET 2003 (7.1) IDE support for Xbox projects has been implemented for the June release of the XDK. Now, both Win32® and Xbox projects can be compiled with the MS® Visual C++® 7.1 compiler using the Visual Studio .NET 2003 IDE. The .NET 2003 IDE allows greater flexibility and customization in your projects, including the ability to build projects without building their dependencies, as well as options to enhance the Solution Explorer experience. These changes will not affect the use of the 7.1 compiler with the .NET 2002 (7.0) IDE. The .NET 2002 IDE will continue to be supported.
