I recently got the spider gx i installed it and got the os screen to come up i was looking around on it and i think i unlocked or locked the hardrive not sure. i put the xbox back together started it up and it said 05 service required. How can i make my xbox work again?

just relock the hardrive. it needs to be locked for the ms dash but i think it can be unlocked if you are using evox.

the same things happened to me after my xbox got bumped around after a halo lan. i just rechecked all the connection on my chip. you probably have a lose wire. hope it works out for you. feel free to post more questions, the guys here are very helpful
