Guys, this game is a continuation of the story started in a John Woo film called Hard Boiled. Woo's films are the reason why you can't turn on a movie or a video game without seeing a guy diving through the air sideways, dual pistols blazing. The guy literally invented that "genre" (if you can call it that) with the A Better Tomorrow series (started '86), and Max Payne - not to mention "highly original" films like The Matrix - owe their very existence to John Woo. Woo himself is designing and overseeing this game, so calling it a Payne ripoff is like calling Indiana Jones a Tomb Raider ripoff. Respect where respect is due.

Woaw that blew me away literately.
I've been seeing the thread pop in and out but I've finally looked at the video.
Very impressive.
John Woo's taking a stab at his own genre in action games
