Hey all,

My question is this. On my home DVD player, as most people have, my DVD player lets me choose a 16 x9 format to match my widescreen tv. I just watched a movie last night which is dieplayed in 16:9 format, yet there were still some bars on top and bottom. Although it was stioll displaying in widescreen, is there no way to adjust this with the 360? All my other 16:9 movies fill my entires screen, yet that appears not the case when viewing on the 360 for movies. Can anyone give me any insight on this?

Movies have different aspect ratios. The ones that filled the screen were either 1.85:1 or 1.78:1. Movies with wider aspect ratios of 2.35:1 like The Matrix will have the black bars. It's normal.
