I noticed one small change so far... the "NOW SAVING" flashing message after matches...

Wonder what else is different?

And when you start LIVE play, you can choose to 'reset' your statistics... interesting.

Interesting i didnt now they had an update for this game. I will have to load up my game and get the update.

it probably fixes the corrupt/overwriting save game bug that would happen sometimes when you left your disc in the drive and had auto login enabled.

there is actually a long list of glitches, not sure what it fixed. there is...

the save coruption glitch
the get your stars offline then go online and get your achievement glitch
the set your room to loser stays and keep losing to get your win streak achievements and give the people beating you star achievements
the SS glitch
the F- glitch

and a few others that don't come to mind right now. i would ASSUME that the patch fixes all of these.

i knew that there was supposed to be an update coming. i think i posted a topic about this a while ago when we were discussing the possibility of new outfits being released. also the update that was discussed before was supposed to fix the guide bug and alter character stats.

I hope they did something, I havent played the damn game since like months ago.

During gameplay now, it keeps your Rating on the screen which is kind of cool (D, C, B, A, S)

i wouldn't be surprised if the update was stored on the harddrive/memory card itself (whereever your saving your game). this is a game specific update, not a dashboard update (which would be stored on the flash like you mentioned) i'm sure someone will know for sure though

I read that they reset the online leaderboards so they must of blocked/fixed the SS/F glitch. Thats gonna really piss off those who truly had ss rating.

I know they were planning on implementing some character balance, not sure if they did that this patch, but it would further explain the ranking wipe.

I still see SS players who obviously used the glitch to get to that rank, so those guys didn't lose their rank.
Also, the now show a textscreen when in the past the game would just 'hang' (mostly after finishing a online match). This really helps as the freezing seems to be shorter and i haven't had to reset my xbox since.

I have no idea what the 'now saving' means.. also no idea if the SS, F- glitch still works ?
