Earlier this week, my Xbit chipped XBOX 1.5 (running Xecuter2_4976.02 bios) started loading the MS dash where it used to load the Evox dash. Ive had it working for about 18 months without issue. Its a soldered install. I thought I should reflash my bios, and after successfully reflashing all banks I settled on bank 4 (dips On, Off, On, Off) and verified the flash was successful. I was preparing to reinstall Evox from my boot Dvd, but all my XBOX seems to do is Frag (reboot 2 times, then flash red/green eject alternating).

Any ideas?

Check your soldering, sometimes the d0 connection can get loose and give a porr connections which means you get a frag instead of a clean boot.

thanks. Thats what it seems like. I removed the chip entirely and I can boot the MS Dash.
