Today I got wind of a recent addition to the XBConnect(info) Halo 2 section. After what apears to be numerous requests for a Mimesis(info) section on thier servers, they have finally given Mimesis users thier very own playground. For Halo 2 that is.
I wonder if anyone has mentioned the other games our app supports? Oh ya, and for the record... no, I did not make that icon.

You mean that it isn't YET like Halo modding. It took a LONG time to find people with Mimesis maps, and i had a dedicated server running a long time ago, where people with the maps could play. It's great that Mimesis is getting the appreciation!

Sounds great.
Now I really wish I could get Mimesis to work.

Where are the Mimesis installation tutorials? I've seen their official website and it's just a mess of disjointed information. I have yet to find a single tutorial that takes you from begining to end???

As Mimesis is hacked / edited maps, there isn't a download just floating out there publically, and legally you're not permitted to share the files unless they somehow magically worked their way around everything to make them and have Halo recognize them. So don't ask for links here please - as to tutorials I haven't used / tried it I would suggest seeing if you can contact someone that does have them working
