I just played in a game of COD2 that was Team Deathmatch, 6v6 to 200kills and we had an hour. I dont know how it was possible, since the game only supports 8 players total (and there were 12). Im not drunk or high at all, and I have no idea what happened. It was at El Almein (the nighttime one). I thought the map seemed pretty crowded and I had never seen a game to 200 before...and then at the end I saw 6 people on each team. What the hell?

It's accomplished by the CoD2 system link glitch.......you can have up to 16 players total, plus change the kill and time count.

Oh whoops. I didnt know that you could have 16 players, thought it just let you get your friends in. Nevermind...mods can delete this thread now.

The system link glitch had nothing to do with allowing you to get your friends in. Inviting friends in the game was the same as without the glitch; you had to hurry like hell with your invite before the room gets filled up.
Advantages of glitch:
- Up to 16 players
- Always host
- You can choose the map to play on
- You can change the kill count, time amount, and friendly fire on/off
Disadvantages:
- Up to 16 players; most people cannot even handle 8 players without lag
- Cannot pick the game type; it just randomly picks it for you
